The "Post something about the person above you" thread on the RateYourMusic forums has been a thing for 15 years - this is a sonification of the entire thread up until the exact anniversary!

The first track compresses the 15 years into an hour, with each year being represented by 4 minutes real-time. This includes the several years of the thread being completely dead, so a lot of the track is very minimal noise.

The second bonus track is the last 2000 pages of discussion on a much slower scale (1 year would take 2 hours real-time). I wanted to create this one because the activity of the thread sped up so much recently that it became just a wall of noise in the faster version. A slower approach much better demonstrates the regular ebb-and-flow of the thread as it's been going recently!
